Retired Hipster reports that the Book Expo in New York City was a great launch into the world of book publishing. The Expo was an excellent event for making connections, have sit-down meetings and TRULY TALK SHOP. It provided us an opportunity to connect with leading distribution companies and represent our new line of books and gift products. OUTSIDE THE BOX: NYC WAS SUNNY AND WARM...FULL OF COLORFUL PEOPLE, CREATIVE ART GALLERIES AND YUMMY RESTAURANTS. IT WAS OUR FIRST VISIT TO NYC together. We took it all in, from the bookish types at the Expo, to the famous NYC pizza slice, to the fantastic juice bars, to all the sassy hat stores AND MORE. It’s NYC AND IT WILL ALWAYS ROCK!
